Buddies was started in 2017 in Kent in the south east of England,
we are small independant non domiciliary care provider .
We have grown in kent from a day service to community support and supporting independence, we also support in clients home . All of this we hope to replicate here in Blackpool.

Our Kent service is managed by Alison and a small staff team, where here will be managed by the company owner Philip with his handful of staff.
​
Clients from Kent have visited here for holidays since Philip relocated from Kent. Hence the expansion of the service in to Blackpool.

The Philosophy

We believe that people with learning disabilities have a right to skilled support that enables them to live with others safely and healthily in the community and that the role of STAFF is to work in partnership with service users, families and members of the multi-professional and multi-agency team to provide support of the highest quality to people with learning disabilities.
Buddies Service is a day centre and community support and Home care service that serves the Swale area.
We serve the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and support for their families.
Buddies Service’s mission is to provide opportunities, activities and learning for adults with autism, learning and developmental disabilities, anxiety and a need for social skills.
The aim is to empower them to improve their lives, increase their independence and adopt supportive relationships within the community.
